A review of the first week back at uni

Well hello again. I’m back. Back in Belfast, back in uni, and back on your screen. This week was the first week back at Queen’s. It’s been a weird one. Second year is slightly more stressful than first year. Not in terms of workload. Probably just because people keep asking if it’s more stressful so I feel like I should be stressed. Don’t ask people that. Just don’t.

Anyway, the first week of uni is weird. Moving out again is fun and involves loads of socialising, and making too many cups of tea at once because literally everyone wants one, but that’s a lot for us introverts. I think I deserve some time to wrap up in my duvet and rot while watching Modern Family. I would love to have no thoughts for like an hour. I suppose that’s what Sunday afternoons are for.

In case I haven’t said it enough, I study Politics, Philosophy and Economics. So I do nine hours of class a week. Naturally, I am exhausted. It’s just so difficult to get up for a 10am class. And both 10am classes haven’t been worth getting up for so I’ll be having a lie in next week.

So my review of the first week back at uni is that it was fun and I really enjoyed it, but I’ll need 3 weeks to recover from it.

p.s. I’m aware that this post seems very thrown together, and that is because it is. Thank you.
