Well it’s that time of the year again. Spotify wrapped has come back to expose us all.
Don’t get me wrong, I was buzzing when that notification came through but I wasn’t exactly looking forward to the yearly roast I was about to get.
However, like not to boast or anything, but I think this is the first time I’ve ever not been completely embarrassed by my Spotify wrapped. Glee cast didn’t make it on there once which is an achievement in itself.
Now just like every other basic white girl, Taylor Swift was of course my most listened to artist. It was an obvious one, I have multiple playlists dedicated solely to her music. But surprisingly, none of her songs made it onto my top songs of the year. So I’m not that much of a red flag apparently.
The biggest surprise from Spotify wrapped this year was my top song. Allegedly I listened to About You by the 1975 a lot of times this year. I mean it kinda makes sense but I think having Matty Healy so far up on it was a bit embarrassing.
Overall, I think it was a pretty successful year of music. Not sure Caleb would say the same, but hey i love Careless Whispers too. Just maybe not that much.
