Well it’s been a while. Nice to meet again.
It’s been a weird few weeks. As a first post back, I just want to dedicate it to my little westie Cindy who passed away last week. She was truly the best dog ever. She had a long and full life at 15 years old so I’m just very thankful for how long we had with her.
Cindy had a pretty wild last day. She ate 3 pupcakes and had her first puppuccino. She went on her last walk, which didn’t last very long but she got to sniff a lot of patches of grass. And we had lots and lots of cuddles to top it all off.
Cindy will be sorely missed but we celebrate the times we had together. Below is a poem that my Granny wrote for Cindy and read at the little burial we had for her.
Our Cindy
Today we remember our dear beloved pet / We lay you here in Mother Earth with sadness and regret
Ever cheery, young at heart / Each day within the family, you clearly played a part
So many lovely ways and traits, we don’t have space to write / We’ll hold them in our memories, but now we say “goodnight”
